On the east side of the home, the stonework is progressing with the far exterior walls covered with stone while the close walls are textured waiting for stone to be applied. The garage doors are installed, and the stucco and roofing around the Garage area is complete. With the framing done, the Great Room ceiling detail is built and painted. Wires extend from each square of the detail where lighting fixtures will go. The Master Bathroom shower is prepped with red material ready for the custom tilework to be installed next. Outside, the pool area is excavated. Already we can see what glorious views of the golf course swimmers will have!
To the front of the home, where the stucco and roofing is complete, areas where stonework will be installed is prepared by having textured material on the walls. This home is on a steep grade in the hills of DC Ranch. The remanence of the natural stone mountain originally on site can be seen when coming up the drive. Fronted by a stone site wall, the natural mountain blends well with the designed wall. Because the mountain was excavated to make room for the home site, a tall expansive retaining site wall runs along the length of the drive. The masonry of the site wall currently has stone being applied to the wall. The spectacular view from the rear of the home is a golf course and unobstructed expansive views of North Scottsdale.
