This Luxury Custom Home in Paradise Valley is completely framed. From the outside view of the home, we can see the home taking shape with its masonry walls and wood framing. More detailed framing is seen on the inside of the house. Ductwork is framed in, showing where the vents will be before drywall is installed. The masonry of the Great Room fireplace is placed within the framing as well. This home has a lovely over-sized fireplace that the home owners will surely cozy up to during the cool Arizona evenings. Above head, mechanical shelves run along the ceiling. Rough plumbing was one of the first stages to be finished, and now as the house is built around it we can see where the plumbing in the pantry is ready to be trimmed when the time comes. Lightweight concrete is poured and smoothed on the second floor terrace. This special material gives the durability of concrete without the heaviness. As all these stages are in progress, stucco and stone samples are brought on site for the owners to review and approve. It is important to have the samples at the job site because lighting throughout the day will change and so will the hues of the samples. We encourage our clients to see them at different times when the sunlight hits the color tones differently.
