Grading and site work is completed at this North Scottsdale Custom Home in DC Ranch. The large, steep home site has taken months to excavate in preparation to begin the house pad. This rocky house site has elicited the need for extensive grading and excavation. Now we are digging footings. This is the first step of the home’s foundation phase. Mounds of footing spoils are set aside and will be leveled off and become part of the backfill. Rebar is set in the large footings and some steel for block columns. The rising sun peeks over the mountain on the east side of this property illuminating the site for the day. To the west we can already see gorgeous views of North Scottsdale. The DC Ranch golf course adds beautiful scenery as well.
