Fountain Hills has the world’s fourth tallest fountain. Each year the town’s fountain is dyed green in celebration of St. Patrick’s Day. The Town has three annual fairs, a local art fair, the Fountain Hills Great Fair which incorporates arts and a carnival, as well as Thunderbird Artists’ Fountain Hills Fine Art & Wine Affaire. Fountain Park not only contains Fountain Lake and The Fountain, but also many acres of beautiful grass, shade trees, picnic pavilions and lakeside benches. There is a one-mile paved walking trail around the lake, a hiking trail that overlooks the lake, a Splash Park for kids, a Disc (Frisbee) golf course, children’s playgrounds, shops and restaurants!
